It is all because of that darn rabbit part 1

After days of raining in my Nevada desert home, our bare yard starts spouting so many various of weeds almost infest the whole yard. Dear husband spends all day weeding but only clear a small area then he plants some flowers. Before we go out for dinner, he stands by the window to see his fruits of labor so satisfied. Then he screams, “Darn rabbit is lurking at my new flowers!” I see a tiny cottontail cute wild bunny stands alone at other side of the yard by the fence. I am not sure the bunny is lurking or not but such a cute one indeed!

That pretty much spoils the whole dinner. Every so often during the dinner, I would hear him kept saying “that darn rabbit better leave my flowers alone.”

At once we are home, dear husband rush to the window and happily reports “there is no rabbit foot prints” Tigger (our cat) comes to the window and try to figure out what was all the fuss about.

This is the conversation that I overheard from dear husband and Tigger.

“Meowwww”
“Tigger, listen to daddy! If you see rabbits come to the flowers, you should have a talk to them.”
“Meowww”
“Yes, tell them not to touch the flowers. Ok”
“Meowww”
“Or, You will….”
“Meowww”
“Ok, fine, just give them ear full of “Meow” until they leave.”
"Meowww"!

Well, that said it. It is all because of that darn rabbit, Tigger becomes the official guard of the flowers by the window. Her weapon is “Meowwww”
